This story is based where the skateboard culture is the most foreign, the Midwest. Derrick Cabrera, like all skaters, has a dream of being sponsored and one day going pro. He is an up and coming skater with all the talent but has the world against him. Parents, friends and schoolmates can't understand how Derrick has so much passion for something that has no future in their eye...。在未来世界里，人类研发出了生理上与人类无异的仿生人，二者唯一差别就是可以被植入“初始执念”。由于该产业发展迅猛，有人开始利用其进行非法活动。政府最终出台“仿生人禁止令”。 政府成立“明眸搜查部”来配合搜查混迹在人类社会中未被发现的仿生人，调查员程诺（宋威龙饰）和安秋（文淇饰）在组长万国峰（祖峰饰）的带领下展开工作。二人从开始的互看不惯到后来可以默契配合完成案件侦破。就在这个过程中，二人各自隐藏的秘密也渐渐浮出水面。。
