萨姆（斯宾塞·屈塞 Spencer Tracy 饰）是一名体育新闻记者，最近，他被一个女人给惹恼了，她就是同样身为记者的苔丝（凯瑟琳·赫本 Katharine Hepburn 饰）。苔丝总是在自己的专栏里抱怨体育运动是如此的无聊，而萨姆则在自己的专栏里和她针锋相对。 为了证明体育运动的魅力，萨姆和苔丝相约去看一场棒球比赛。毫不令人意外的，棒球赛结束之后，萨姆和苔丝双双坠入了情网。然而，两人的婚后生活却并不是风平浪静，截然不同的个性让他们在很多的琐事上都会爆发争吵。苔丝被选为了“时代女强人”，这让萨姆感到非常的吃醋，而为了让萨姆重新开心起来，苔丝做了一系列的努力却纷纷以失败收场。。A group of young offenders are delivered to an island for a week of character building exercises after one of their fellow inmates commits suicide.. It all goes horribly wrong when they realise that there′s someone else on the island who has a pack of dogs and a crossbow with which to hunt them down.。
