本片以倒叙手法回顾Houdini传奇的一生从他幼时在纽约的贫苦生活（他当时名为“艾瑞克威斯”）到他成为国际知名的魔术大师，他以向死亡挑战的惊险脱逃术让世人不由得屡次惊叹。。回主城沙湾的乡间路上，女白领杨小媛和男友绍辉因感情问题大吵大闹，最后绍辉驾车离去。小媛独自一人徒步回城，几经坐顺风车无果后，小媛遇到热情帅气的年轻司机江岳，谁知道一场不归路就此开始……。We made a movie in a day: We traveled 467 miles, to 20 locations, with 18 actors, in less than 24 hours. The lead actress wasn't given a script, a story line, or even her character name. She 'woke up' in a hotel room with no memory, and her only goal was to figure out who she was.
