本片乃是编导对一起发生在70年代早期乌拉圭的真实事件的个人诠释。一个美国AID官员（他们通常的任务是作为先遣部队前往目标国家训练当地警察人员如何镇压暴乱）遭当地游击队绑架并谋杀。经过调查发现，他原来是美国政府干涉当地内政的特派人员，经游击队严刑逼供仍不吐实，于是加以杀害，在这条主线之外，影片也描写了左翼游击队和乌拉圭政府的对抗。。本片由Barnabás Tóth执导，卡洛伊·哈伊久克、玛丽·纳吉出演，讲述了1948年至1953年两名大屠杀幸存者，42岁的医生和一个16岁女孩，及其生活的温情故事。。When odd couple Jan and Kris are forced to work together to produce a podcast, they learn they are both undergoing “The Change” – aka menopause – and embark on a journey of transformation, helping each other through workplace challenges and office politics, dating and relationship drama, and some serious health concerns.
