初到香港的菲律宾华侨何美田（胡杏儿饰）因身材肥胖而备受打击和歧视，即使她乐天开朗、心地善良。而对美田最为排挤、处处针对的人就是她的上司戴喜（许志安）。戴喜是一名顶级设计师，一切“以貌取人”。他与女友宋曼颐（姚嘉妮）郎才女貌，是公认的完美情侣。然而一次意外让戴喜记忆全失，收留他的人偏偏就是美田。美田本想戏弄一下戴喜来发泄平日里积压的怨气。她告诉戴喜自己是他的女朋友。这对看似南辕北辙的欢喜冤家，开始慢慢彼此了解熟悉，爱上了对方。然而戴喜最终恢复了记忆，他不能接受自己竟会爱上美田，即使他的心里仍然对美田有着强烈的感觉。为了忘记美田，戴喜决定马上和女友结婚。此时，美田也为了理想，加入婚纱公司当婚礼策划。万万没有想到的是，所接的第一个顾客竟是戴喜和宋曼颐的婚礼！。本片改编自日本著名推理小说家江户川乱步的同名小说，20世纪20年代的东京。无业游民乡田三郎是一间小公寓楼的住户，他偶然发现自己房间的天花板可以移开，便每天爬到屋顶夹层中偷窥他人，看到了许多外人所不知的秘密。不久他对此产生了厌倦，接着便萌生了报复平日趾高气扬的牙科医生远藤的念头。于是，趁远藤睡着时，乡田穿过屋顶夹层在他张着的大嘴里灌入吗啡，成功地害死了他。这时，远藤的闹钟突然响了，受惊的乡田慌忙返回自己的房间。远藤的死被警方判定为自杀，然而住在这间公寓里的私人侦探明智小五郎却认为想自杀的人不会设定闹钟，判断这是一起他杀案件。通过一个小细节，明智察觉到乡田就是犯人……。Chorus girls Polly, Carol and Trixie are ecstatic when they learn that Broadway producer Barney Hopkins is putting on a new show. He promises all of the girls parts in the new show and even hires their neighbor Brad Roberts, an unknown composer, to write some of the music. There's only one problem: he doesn't have the money to bankroll it all. That problem is solved when Brad turns out to be quite rich but he insists that he not perform. When opening night comes, the juvenile lead can't go on forcing Brad to take the stage. He's recognized of course and his upper crust family wants him to quit. When he refuses, they tell him to end his relationship with Polly or face having his income cut off. When Brad's snobbish brother Lawrence mistakes Carol for Polly, the girls decide to have a bit of fun and teach him a lesson.。
