故事描述，刘代师傅主持国术会，一向平安无事，适逢会馆搬迁，刘派女儿惠英红接掌；新旧派作风回异，刘只得离去；后因惠频惹是非，刘闻讯即回巢声援……。Comedy about the proverbial genie who comes out of a bottle (a table lamp in this instance) to serve his new master. The only problem is that instead of helping his master, the genie (Burl Ives) tends to get his master (Tony Randall) into more predicaments than he gets him out of.。
