A young newlywed couple find themselves trapped in a network of underground caves. With her husband injured, the new bride is forced to find her way back to the surface in order to save his life. In the process, they discover a terrifying truth about the "underneath", they are not alone. Something evil is hunting them.。組に反旗を翻した若いチンピラと、彼と逃亡を共にするペルー育ちの日系人との交流を描くロードムーヴィー。『復讐の天使／KAMIKAZE TAXI』のタイトルでＯＶ作品として既に発売されていながら、スクリーン上映を望む多くのリクエストに応え、劇場公開となった。監督・脚本は「ペインテッド・デザート」の原田眞人。撮影は「家なき子(1994)」の阪本善尚が担当している。主演は「極東黒社会」の役所広司と、「平成無責任一家 東京デラックス」の高橋和也。ミッキー・カーチスが本作でキネマ旬報助演男優賞を受賞している。東京国際ファンタスティック映画祭'94正式出品作品。95年度キネマ旬報ベストテン第8位。。
