Explosions, bodies, speeches, ruins, bombs, it's all there and by the end of the sixth and last episode yo...。马锡五曾任陕甘宁边区政府专员、陕甘宁边区高等法院陇东分庭庭长、高等法院院长等。他在陇东工作期间，改变旧的衙门官老爷式的审判作风，走群众路线，以调解为主，受到群众的爱戴和拥护，被称为“马青天”，毛泽东在延安亲笔给他题词：“一刻也不要脱离群众”。 剧中涉及的案件均以历史上的真实案例为基础，特别是刘巧儿婚姻纠纷一案(解放初由新凤霞主演的著名评剧《刘巧儿》据此创作)，被称为“近代八大奇案之一”，此案经过马锡五审理后，并提出自由恋爱和婚姻自主，在陕甘宁边区引起了一场婚姻革命。。
