宮城、大阪、北海道・東京を舞台に、時系列を入れ替えながらストーリーが紡がれた「キリエのうた」。岩井が手がけた脚本は時系列に沿って執筆されており、今回はこの脚本と初期編集版をもとに全10話、5時間半超えのドラマが制作された。 「路上のルカ」には、主人公キリエと夏彦のシーンや、キリエが楽曲「幻影」を歌唱するシーンなどの未公開映像を収録。岩井は「『路上のルカ』は『キリエのうた』のそれぞれのエピソードをじっくりたっぷり描いていて、物語の向かって行く先は一緒でも、まるで違う体感、読後感の作品になりました」とコメントした。。为了阻止企图霸占世界的黑暗势力，野原家的普通小狗——小白接肩负重大使命，变身成为了守护世界的“超级小白”。小白将要面对的不仅是发明狗，还有其他意想不到的对手。当然，面对邪恶势力，小白也有着令人惊讶的超能力。于是，在这样一个以动物为主体的世界里，一场守护世界和平的“大战”悄然展开了。。The year is 1989.
