民国初年，村民刘风带领众人上山挖矿，不料惊醒了沉睡百年的大蛇，在逃亡的过程中，只有刘风活了下来；几天后，村里开始举办祭祀活动，并且邀请了江湖道士成州一同参与，意图剿杀蛇王，成州误打误撞杀了大蛇。可接下来村民依然遭受大蛇的袭击，不停的有人失踪，一场惊心动魄的人蛇大战拉开序幕……。The movie is based on the suspense short film nominated for the Golden Méliès to the Best European Fantastic Short Film, winner of more than 30 awards and screened by more than 200 film festivals.
