《最后的99天》取材于真实的历史事件，讲述了解放前夕，在距新政协预定的会期还有99天之际，上海地下党为了争取并掩护民主人士北上参加第一届新政协会议，一对同父异母的兄弟即共产党人肖昆和国民党军官肖鹏之间，展开殊死搏斗的故事。。The film revolves around Tegan and Sara Quin, gay twin sisters from Calgary, Alberta, who formed a rock band that attracted devoted followers, many of them from the LGBTQ+ community. But in 2011, Tegan’s personal computer files were hacked, setting off a calamitous chain of events.。
