本剧改编自美国记者杰克·阿德尔斯坦记录了东京警视厅辖区内各事件第一手资料的同名纪实文学。故事发生在90年代末，杰克·阿德尔斯坦（安塞尔·艾尔高特饰）每天都会进入东京霓虹灯下的阴暗世界，在那里，一切都并非表面呈现的样子。而东京扫黑组的警探Hiroto Katagiri（渡边谦饰），对于杰克来说有着父亲榜样般的地位，他帮助杰克在警察和有组织犯罪世界之间那条纤细且往往不稳定的界线上前进。。A group of young pilots in a remote region of the Canadian wilderness begin to hear strange reports over their radios about planes crashing, cars stalling and a deadly plague which has gripped the planet. It becomes clear that earth is in the midst of an invasion. The group of pilots decide to barracade themselves in a cabin deep in the woods and wait for their impending doom.。
