Showtime正式宣布签订Cameron Crowe和J. J. Abrams的《Roadies》，本剧将在2016年播出。Winnie Holzman和Bryan Burke将担任这部音乐题材的一小时喜剧的执行制片人，本剧讲述摇滚乐队演出幕后工作人员们——也就是roadies的故事。 本剧原本只有半小时，但后来延长至一小时，而且自试映集播出之后本剧就成为一个强有力的竞争者，尽管过程稍艰难但一路被开绿灯。本剧早在2014年6月就被预订，试映集之后就成剧，成剧后一个主角被更换，Carla Gugino替代了Christina Hendricks。 本剧由Crowe创作，讲述一群在摇滚乐队演出过程中，各种幕后工作人员的生活。剧集透过音乐没有唱出的视角看待摇滚音乐世界，着墨于在美国各大舞台演出的幕后的工作人员。Pearl Jam的经纪人Kelly Cur...。Here we go again!
