A romantic comedy drama about finding love when you least expect it. 3 people all experience tragedies they feel they will never overcome, can they find hope and love again in the future - or will the past always keep holding them back?。男主范闲本来有点小钱，带着前妻留下的七八岁的女儿雪儿，娶了金凤。从结婚那天起，范闲成了金凤一家的提款机，对范闲吸血、随意打骂，金凤也给范闲生了一个儿子范统，金凤吹耳边风，范闲被蒙骗，偏爱儿子，两个人对女儿雪儿动辄打骂，甚至要把雪儿卖给开赌场。影片讲述一位罗马尼亚移民工人，在离开比利时、返回故土前夕，将冰箱里的剩余蔬菜烩做一锅，拜访赠予留居亲友。偶然相遇的华裔生物科学博士，引领他在布鲁塞尔的公园森林里看到苔藓近在咫尺而幽深无限的世界。。
