本片由罗马导演、倪匡编剧，拍於1980年，由著名武打红星吴元俊领衔主演。故事讲述某寺青年僧人「疯子」(吴元俊饰)，性格疯疯癲癲，行為全不符僧人规范。该寺主持玄明方丈却认為「疯子」与佛有缘，并因应其性格与气质，授以「癲罗汉拳」。「疯子」有了武功后，动輒出拳伤人，方丈只得将其逐出寺门……。斯波尔丁·格雷是美国著名喜剧家，无论在银幕还是舞台上，他都以招牌式的滔滔不绝而著称。于是斯蒂文·索德伯格为这位大师级“喷子”提供了一次“说个够”的机会。全片从头到尾是格雷的独白，主要围绕他治疗自己罕见眼疾的艰辛历程而展开。《格雷的剖析》可被视为关于病痛与死亡的自省沉思，而在电影方面则是次开拓性实验。。Heaven is now happily married and ready to settle back in her hometown. But after a trip to Farthinggale Manor, Heaven is persuaded to stay.
