Dao returns home and finds her fiance in bed with another woman. She shoots them dead on the spot. She is sentenced to 10 years in prison. She gets out eventually and stays with a friend who runs an escort service and learns that women are even caged in the outside world.。2004年4月的一天，一支美军小分队在伊拉克巴格达巡逻。平静的清晨时光很快被震耳欲聋的枪炮声打破，小分队突然遭到当地武装分子的袭击。经过一番激烈交战，武装分子中数人伤亡，美军中士大卫•杰森（Michael Belisaro 饰）也身受重伤。战友的伤势严重，小分队的士兵们无法顾及其他，连忙带着大卫赶往最近的伊拉克医院。在医院内他们和恰好在此疗伤的武装分子遭遇，双方再次发生冲突。 万般无奈之下，小分队成员只得带着伤者转移。在接下来的12小时内，他们遭遇了汽车炸弹、自杀袭击、武装分子围攻等种种危难。所谓正义已没有意义，巴格达变成了难辨善恶的血腥修罗场……。
