电竞选手小苍在一场比赛中失利，决定退役从事商业活动。后因陷入代言危机,小苍前往“南极镇”寻找“迷之肉松饼”配方,偶遇在同一天遭遇失业打击也回到老家的王泽。王泽为帮父亲还债，必须组织一支战队在全国比赛中战胜恶霸赵金发的战队,因此招募了队友-小镇富二代金威廉，护士学院唯一的男生贾壮壮，叛逆女青年欧阳楠和单亲妈妈高雪。五人的经历和决心感动了小苍，于是小苍决定作为教练指导他们的训练,希望能带领这帮"垫底玩家"走向逆袭之路....。Previously acclaimed for his essayistic documentaries, Philip Scheffner has now ventured into fiction.
