The Crystal...。故事发生在游戏中，MT是一个胆小怕事、贪财好色、呆傻蠢萌的牛头人，是初级玩家，之后意外要与100级的恶龙对抗。MT和青梅竹马的傻馒等，利用一本名叫《山口山战记》的宝书而拥有了复生的能力，与恶龙对抗。不过，没想到故事的背后，真相竟然直指游戏背后的人……。全52話と全25話で2度のTVアニメ化を果たした漫画『ハヤテのごとく！』の劇場アニメ化が決まった。アニメーション制作は第1期のSynergySPでもなく、第2期のJ.C.STAFFではなく、マングローブ。 監督は劇場アニメ『ハヤテのごとく！』が初監督作品となる小森秀人さん。脚本は『灼眼のシャナ』シリーズや『仮面ライダー電王』の小林靖子さん。。
