电影讲述一名英国女贵族，千里跋涉到遥远的国度，遇到粗犷不羁的当地放牧人，她在极不情愿的情况下，同意与他协力拯救她所继承的土地，他们一同展开这场让他们脱胎换骨的旅程。。艺术品商人兼收藏家马淑湘（邓萃雯饰）与丈夫孙逸（陈锦鸿饰）结婚二十周年，决定委托插画师许或然（谈善言饰）将她和孙逸共同走过的这些年画成十幅画作，以作纪念。筹备期间，孙逸及许或然渐生情愫。马淑湘发现二人关系后，找回多年没有联络的妹妹马淑媛（廖碧儿饰）协助自己力挽狂澜。另一方面，马淑湘与一直暗恋她的主诊医生林若德（林德信饰）也发展出一段亲密关系。。The story is set in the 1930s, somewhere in the mountains in Romania. It centres on Simion, a ranger who lives like a hermit in the middle of the forest. One day, he stumbles upon a beaten-up woman, Irina, and tries to find out who has hurt her. He also tries to stay away from her but fails.。
